Who is Doctor Micheal Seidman
Michael D. Seidman, MD, FACS, is a distinguished American physician specializing in neurotology and otolaryngology (ear, nose, and throat care). He earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan and completed a five-year residency in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery at Henry Ford Health System. Following this, he pursued a fellowship in otologic/neurotologic and skull base surgery at the Silverstein Ear Research Foundation.
Dr. Seidman is recognized as an expert in several areas, including the molecular basis of aging, noise-induced hearing loss, tinnitus, and complex ear surgeries such as cochlear implants and skull base procedures. He practices at AdventHealth in Celebration, Florida, where he became the first surgeon to perform robotic-assisted cochlear implants, a technique that minimizes tissue damage and enhances patient outcomes. He is also one of only 11 surgeons globally certified to implant the Envoy Esteem Implant, a fully internal hearing device.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Seidman is a prolific researcher and educator, with extensive publications in medical literature and frequent lectures at international conferences. His work also explores nutrition, antioxidants, and complementary medicine in relation to health and aging. He has received numerous accolades, including the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery’s Clinical Practitioner Excellence Award, and has been consistently named a “Top Doctor” by his peers since 1998.
